WHAT to EXPECT?
You should use DEESS IPL once a week for the first 12 weeks, to ensure all of the hair follicles are treated. As hair grows in different phases, it’s important to continue your weekly treatments to ensure the chosen area has been thoroughly treated. With regular and consistent treatments, you’ll notice fewer hairs growing back. Any hair that does grow back will be finer, lighter in colour and will grow much more slowly.
After 12 weeks, you’ll only need to complete top-up treatments as and when they are required. This is usually only once every 4-8 weeks, which is hugely different to shaving 2-5 times a week. Everyone’s treatment regimen will differ, as it can entirely depend on your skin, hair type and even lifestyle. However as time goes on, you should be able to replace your shaving routine completely.

How Does IPL Work
Light-based hair removal device is a Pulsed Light system which emits intense pulsed light (IPL) at a wavelength ranging from 510~1100nm. The device works on the principles of selective photothermolysis, which causes thermal damage to target chromophores by using the light of an appropriate wavelength in pulses. These pulses exceed the chromophores’ thermal relaxation time but sparing normal skin by limiting the pulse width below the thermal relaxation time for skin.

Due to the hair growth cycle and the presence of inactive hair follicles, we recommend 1 treatment per week and insist on 6-12 weeks. Please go back over the treated area 2-5 times to enhance the result. Avoid flashing the same spot continuously.

1) Install the desired lamp then a plugin.
2) Hold the power button to start.
3) Short press the intensity button to adjust levels.
Now the device is ready.

Automatic flash: Keep the device touch you skin and hold the button to turn on the automatic flash,
Simply glide the device slowly without button pressed in automatic flash mode.

How does IPL work on your hair? The energy of short intense pulse light is absorbed preferentially by the pigment in the root hair follicle to inhibit their growth. After continuous treatments, hair is prevented from growing back.
Who can use this device?
DEESS 586 should only be used on Fitzpatrick I-V skin tones and works best on darker hair colors.
IPL is effective on naturally black, brown and darker blonde hair colours, but may not be as effective on red, white, grey or very light blonde hair. White and grey hair does not contain enough melanin to absorb the light energy. Red hair contains a different type of melanin which is not responsive to IPL.
IPL Working principle: The light is absorbed by the hair root full of melanin inhibiting the regrowth, and after continuous treatments, hair is permanently prevented from growing back!
